Add Hawk's Retarder™/Gloss Additive to your topcoat to improve gloss and eliminate orange peel.

Retarder / Gloss Additive

For use during very hot days (90º+) to slow the solvent evaporation rate. The very rich, slow solvent, increases flowout for improved gloss levels and allows more time to recoat without reducing your spray viscosity to unacceptable levels.

It is recommended that retarder be added in small amounts, while continually testing the overall lay-up and spray ability of the coating film.

When added properly retarder will eliminate orange-peel, and improve overall gloss of the coating film.

This product may also be added to Glas-Tech 9000 reducer to slow the flash rate of the reducer.
