Hawk Research Laboratories Introduces UltraGrip™ Lo 4300 - A New Low Odor, Low VOC Primer System
WHEELING, IL (January 15, 2018) – Hawk Research Laboratories, LLC today unveiled UltraGrip Lo 4300, a two component, low odor, low VOC, fast dry primer system. UltraGrip Lo 4300 has a total VOC less than 100 grams per liter when used at the recommended mix ratio, and is compliant with the most stringent coatings regulations for primer systems. It is a polyamide cured epoxy system specifically designed as a high build, high tack intercoat adhesive for all Hawk Topcoat Systems providing excellent adhesion over a wide variety of substrates.

CEO, John Kenny, added “UltraGrip Lo 4300 represents the latest product launch from a strong product development pipeline. In 2017 we added new gray designs to the StoneFlecks™ Multicolor finish range, new effects with the Dream Metallics™ Collection, and introduced Sterlion™ antimicrobial technology available in our topcoats. We will launch several innovative new products in 2018 providing the refinishing industry with an even greater choice of performance and design”.
UltraGrip Lo 4300 is used in a ratio of 2 parts resin to 1 part catalyst to 2 parts reducer and is commercially available in 2.5 gallon and 5 gallon kits.
