Sterlion™ is the industry's first antimicrobial additive with the benefit of Siltrac™ technology.

Developed in response to the growing popularity and demand for antimicrobial coatings in the healthcare, education, food and beverage, residential and other markets, Sterlion utilizes independently tested and market-proven silver ion technology to protect resurfaced areas from the harmful effects of bacteria for the lifetime of the coating.

WHY STERLION ANTIMICROBIAL ADDITIVE WITH SILTRAC TECHNOLOGY?
The silver ions in Sterlion protect surfaces from bacteria, for the lifetime of the coating, in three ways:

• Binding to the cell wall, inhibiting bacterial growth
• Interrupting enzyme production, to stop cell-producing energy
• Interrupting the bacteria cell DNA, preventing replication 

Additionally, using Siltrac technology and a Hawk custom laser indicator, resurfacing professionals can provide their customers peace-of-mind by demonstrating and confirming the presence of Sterlion antimicrobial additive before and after a surface is coated.

Sterlion may be added as an upgrade to any of Hawk's topcoat systems.
